These are the words that I found coming out of my mouth as we arrived at the Stake Halloween Party on Saturday. I stayed in the gym the whole time, while the kids walked around from room to room, game to game. On their own. How pleasant for me to sit and visit and watch the costumed children walk by. And then, when it was over, my children reappeared with powdery faces from the donut-on-a-string game, cupcakes from the cake walk, and a bag of treats.
